Chris is an experienced civil litigator who specializes in employment,\n commercial, and tort litigation. He is A/V rated by Martindale-Hubbell, has been recognized in\n Chambers USA, and is perennially listed as a Florida &quot;Super Lawyer&quot; by Law &amp; Politics\n Magazine.\n Chris’s career highlights include trying the $300 million products liability case that arose\n from the 1995 crash of American Airlines Flight 965 in Cali, Colombia; defending the Miami-\n Dade State Attorney’s Office in several high profile employment discrimination trials; and\n arguing before the Florida Supreme Court on election law issues including Florida’s 2002\n redistricting litigation.\n Chris lectures frequently on litigation tactics, employment, tort, and insurance issues and\n is a former adjunct professor of international law at Florida International University. He is proud\n of his extensive pro bono representation of young children in Florida’s dependency courts, work\n for which he and his wife have received several awards.\n Chris holds a B.A. in Russian Language from Dartmouth College. He received his J.D.\n cum laude at the University of Miami School of Law, where he attended on a full-tuition\n scholarship and was a member of the University of Miami Law Review. He also holds a\n Master’s degree in International Law from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and a\n graduate degree in international studies from The University of Geneva in Switzerland.\n Chris speaks French, Spanish, and some Russian. He is also an award-winning\n playwright.\n
